BroadView Level II Support Opening

Position Overview: Key focus of this role is to provide support to BroadView clients and BroadView Support teams regarding product installations and ongoing maintenance on both client and internal systems. Utilizing effective communication, analytical, and technical skills, Level II Support tasks are identified, investigated and resolved or escalated to the development team after investigation results are recorded. Additional responsibilities include the investigation and resolutions of system warnings, compiling builds, maintaining internal test servers, client deployments, quality-assurance testing, and creating Tier II scripts & custom tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Support up-keep and maintenance of databases and systems in both internal and in live production environments

  • Investigate system generated warnings for both BroadView clients & internal systems and chose the most suitable procedure to resolve

  • Assist clients in managing their network security risks by maintaining password changes on client servers by following the recommended procedure.

  • Builds and Deployments: Following the applicable technical procedure, deploy software updates and server installations on client/internal servers.

  • Special Projects: Depending on the project scope, ownership may include any or all stages of the project life-cycle: analysis, planning, development, testing, documentation, implementation, and knowledge-sharing.

Required:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems & Technology, or related field

  • Knowledge of Windows server and desktop operating systems

  • Scripting skills (specifically Java Script) and experience with JSON and XML

  • Familiar with Linux, IIS, C#, and ASP.NET

  • Extremely strong communication skills, able to communicate clearly, effectively and in a timely manner

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, able to analyze and solve problems
