Enjoys Efficiency Gains with Fully Integrated System
LAS VEGAS, Nevada – (NAB Booth N2925) April 18, 2016 – Telearuba, part of SETAR, the national telecommunications company of Aruba, has implemented BroadView Software's fully integrated media management system including programming, traffic and sales modules.
BroadView’s unique asset centric model provides seamless information sharing including rich metadata from asset acquisition through to logs, EPG exports and OnDemand platforms when needed.
Since the BroadView implementation went "live" February 4th, 2016, it has transformed Telearuba's existing manual systems into a next-generation operation. This has reduced staff investment in day-to-day processes, opening the door to expanded offerings and improved services for the two broadcast channels and their online programming stream.
"With BroadView, Telearuba is better able to fulfill our commitment to constantly improving our offerings to viewers," said Giovanni F. Kock head of finance for Telearuba, "By creating a far more efficient operation, BroadView has freed our staff to focus on other aspects of providing a richer viewer experience."
Kock added that over the years, we have been approached by a number of technology firms and each was evaluated for ROI, functionality and reputation with regard to implementation and on-going support. Across all of our criteria, BroadView proved itself to be the ideal fit for our business in terms of capabilities, ease-of-use, and company support.
"BroadView clients such as Telearuba realize an immediate benefit from our unified database architecture as opposed to using disparate systems," said Michael Atkin, BroadView Founding Partner and President. "This eliminates re-keying of data - particularly in the area of program asset acquisition and metadata since, once entered, it can be reused and repurposed as needed throughout the operation. Online guides and Electronic Program Guide extracts are created using data from both the program asset and the schedule grid without manual intervention.
With BroadView's information infrastructure in place, Telearuba is prepared for whatever direction their operation and audiences want to go.
"Telearuba enjoys great gains with our unified solution. This operation is poised for growth and BroadView is the right platform to move them forward," said Atkin.
The Telearuba install also enjoys great economic efficiencies by using and maintaining its own servers. BroadView is fully Windows certified and runs on industry-standard, low-cost PC hardware.
