This past spring, while attending the CABSAT at the Dubai World Trade Center Michael Atkin, CEO of BroadView Software and Sumit Suri, Managing Director of U-TO Solutions discussed BroadView’s goals of expansion in the region. About the show: CABSAT has evolved to be the number one event in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia region for all industry professionals within the Broadcast, Satellite, Content Delivery and Digital Media sectors. CABSAT covers the creation, exchange, management, distribution and monetization of all filmed entertainment and radio content. The event connects live content opportunities and encourages collaborative partnerships which brings together the world’s leading content producers and connects them with every imaginable delivery platform.
“Noting current strengths BroadView has in the Indian market we felt it was a great time to move further and have assigned a local sales person,” said Suri.
Why CABSAT? Atkin addressed that question: “(We’re) just getting ourselves established. We’ve got organically a number of customers in the region today. We’re here to increase the visibility of our companies and offerings, as we continue to invest in the region. It’s a touch place where you have invest and demonstrate you are committed to the market and have the strong infrastructure in place to make the managed system effective for the customer and we really want to demonstrate that.”
